About the Position
ISC is looking for a German language teacher with experience in teaching Secondary (Grades 5-10). This is a full-time classroom position. The curriculum taught is primarily based on the programme from the German state of Schleswig- Holstein. This teacher will also be asked to teach interdisciplinary project-based learning courses during the afternoon program as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare & teach German to a selection of students from Grades 5-10.

  • Prepare & teach afternoon program lessons as needed (not applicable to part-time)

  • Administer and model ISC’s school policies and procedures (e.g., attendance, dress code, etc.).

  • Regularly collect, track, and communicate student performance and growth.

  • Maintain regular email correspondence with parents and students.

Benefits

  • Salary: 48,000-56,000 euros (for full-time compensation).

  • Relocation: provided for all teachers outside of Germany. Amount depends on individual circumstances such as distance and dependents.

Qualifications

Required

  • Native-level German Language Mastery

  • Professional Mastery of the English Language
