About Our School
At WABE International School, we are an international, diverse, and inclusive community. We pursue the discovery of the World, Self, and Others through progressive pedagogy with the goal of empowering our students to unfold their true talents and potential as compassionate human beings. We place equal emphasis on Social-Emotional Learning and 21st Century Skill development, and we are building a pedagogical approach that provides ample room for teacher autonomy and innovation. As a young school finishing its 7th year, teachers have a unique opportunity to join our team at a point where many of the most difficult start-up challenges have been solved, yet myriad opportunities remain for their own authorship of our program.
What We Look For
At WABE, we’ve set out to build a school where creativity thrives in a diverse and responsive environment. We value the storied experiences of teachers from all backgrounds and the importance of that experience in stimulating empathy and understanding in our students. We believe that planning, communication, and flexibility are vital for our success, and we value teachers who bring experience in these skills to the table. Our school community holds the concept of ‚Lead with Love‘ as a central guiding tenant, which informs our engagement with all members of our community. Our teachers identify with and adhere to the WABE Spirit: Teach Your Heart Out, Never Stop Learning, and All Hands on Deck.
